Just a 'Hodgepodge'

I am way behind on posting. Keith, Bella, and I have been on the go the past 3 weeks. Gotta get in everything we can before Keith is back off to work. Already thinking about his return trip in May...we are off to the beach with our friends, Jeff, Donna and their son Colin. And lets not forget Bella's 2nd Birthday on June 2nd. But, back to the present....Bella is now putting some 2 and 3 word phrases together....Where Daddy Go?---Where Mommie Go?----I run, I walk, I read, I eat......you get the picture.

We went to the Nature Science Center for 'Bunny Day' and saw tons of bunnies and the Easter Bunny too. Bella went right up to the Easter Bunny for a treat. Bella also got to touch a Black Snake. And played 'musical eggs'...kinda like musical chairs....jsut with paper eggs on the floor. And even got a little bunny painted on her face, too cute! We also got tickets to see Jack Hannah when he visits the NSC in May. We got a new 'red' wagon. We got this great 'bubble maker'. And best of all, Bella has 'first row' seats to see Elmo live.

Just gonna post some random pictures.....enjoy!

Easter Peeps

As we made our way thru Target yesterday, I decided it was time to try the yellow 'Peeps'. They were a success. What is spring and Easter without 'Peeps'? Bella took the first bite and went 'mmmmmm', which we all know means, I like that. We crossed upon the Easter Baskets, Bella picked one up and said 'hat' as she put it on her head.

She has started adding 'I' to what she is doing. She says, I walk, I color, I eat, I read....and when she looks in the mirror now, she will say 'Bella' as she sees herself. She will now call her teachers by 'her names' which is a shortened version of their actual names. And her 'da da' is now 'daddy'. It is hard to keep up with the new things she is doing and saying each day.

Come on Spring!!

What not to wear...black shirt, blue jeans, pink purse, 1 green bow and 1 purple bow

'Just one more time'

our little chef!!

this is my mean face, are you convinced?

We had snow on Monday and today we were outside in shorts and a Tee Shirt. I have been out shopping for some warm weather clothes for Bella. She can wear 24 months tops, just a little big. But, she is still somewhere between 12 months and 18 months in the waist for her pants. Can't buy those cute little outfits that come with a top and bottom, I guess.

Bella has a new thing...she will say, 1-2-3 and then do something...like throw a ball, or jump on the bunny or....a prelude before she does the act. And giggle, she is into giggling. Change her diaper, she giggles....change her clothes, she giggles...comb her hair, she giggles...just look at her, she giggles. And is doing much better with the motion of brushing her teeth. She can go back and forth a bit, instead of just chomping down on the toothbrush.

Isabella is 21 Months Old Today and Snow????

Yep, Isabella is 21 months old today. And oh my gosh, I can't keep up with the new things she does everyday. Some of her new words/phrases are: all gone, red bird, blue bird, elephant, I Love You, identifies 'hot' and 'cold', pizza (now loves it), hola, addios, yogurt, and in the grocery store the other day, as I was getting my coffee, said 'coffee'....just to name a few. Of course, when I want to list them, I go blank. I am so thankful to have such 'great' teachers in Bellas school. They have worked with her so much since she started attending back in June. The learning opportunities there are endless for her.

And leave it to have a Winter Snow Storm the 1st day of March...only in NC. Daycare was closed today so Bella got to stay home with mommie and work....well, sorta kinda. She definitely provided input on my calls, but not really considered a reliable source of truth when you can't figure out what she is saying. Remember, I am fortunate to be able to work from home everyday. My company has tons of 'work at home' ee's. But, we can't substitute our working from home as an outlet for 'dependent' care. In emergency situations, ok. Personally, I don't see how anyone could do it anyway. Thank goodness for wireless headsets, I was all over the place. lol And because I did have to work all day, there was no outside play in the snow. And by the end of the week, we are predicted to be back in the 60's.
