2 Months

My how time does tick by....it was 2 months ago today that we walked back into our house with our Isabella. And she changed our lives forever on that day back in February. Isabella can now sit alone, will attempt the 'sippy cup'--on her terms, sleeps thru the night with no feedings--even goes to bed at night with no bottle. :) And this morning, I found her on her tummy in her crib. She has just started to roll over and figure out how to get her arm out from under her. She will roll all over the bed. And she is starting to cut her 7th tooth.

Its Getting Hot In Here...So Take Off All Your Clothes

Its 83 degrees here today...check out Bella in her first pair of shorts, first pair of flip flops, and sporting her Pooh shades. Daddy is so smitten with his 'diva'. Bella is one tough cookie to get to smile in photos. And of course, I walk around with the Nikon within arms reach at all times, waiting for that perfect shot. Well, they are all perfect and priceless. Although, as she gets older and sees some of the photos, she might have a different opinion. She will definitely be able to see how happy she was and how happy she has made us.

Spaghetti--the new finger food....

We had spaghetti for dinner tonight. Bella is all about feeding herself. So, we put the mat under the high chair, attached the bib, rolled up her sleeves and let her dig in. She started out with a spoon....but soon decided that her fingers were much easier to use and way more fun too.Thank goodness we can attach the bowl to the tray or I am sure it would have been on the floor with the spoon. I haven't found any people food that she doesn't like....and just the opposite for baby food...can't really find anything much she does like. It is so much fun to watch her experiment with new tastes and textures.

Stroller Time-----'Pink Cadillac'

We finally had a chance to try out the 'Pink Cadillac' stroller yesterday. The first time that Isabella sat in a stroller in Guatemala....she wasn't really keen on the idea. But, yesterday, she was loving it. She loves to be outside and I am thinking that had something to do with it. And of course, TJ, had to stroll along too. He has to be with his baby sister..lol. The spring flowers are beginning to show their colors and everything is looking fresh and new!

Update on the new house...sheet rock has been hung....brick layers are working...the rest of the insulation is being blown in today....we hope to have our 1st cookout on July 4th on our new porch.

Shutter.....OCD

So...I got a new camera...and now I think I have identified a new obsessive, compulsive disorder....taking photos...lol But, I am having so much fun catching shots of Bella at the most expressive times. From looking like she is praying in her high chair...to sleeping in her jumparoo...wearing her 1st Mickey Mouse hat...the bandaid on her forehead. In years to come..those pictures will show those priceless moments over and over.

Isabella is 10 Months Old Today

My how time is flying by. Isabella is 10 months old today. She is just a little over 17 lbs....can still wear 6-9 mos clothes...and has a tiny size 2 foot. We seem to lose one shoe every time we go out, it seems. We have several that aren't matches any longer. She loves to watch 'The Wiggles' while lounging in her Nannypillow. And pretty much is still a 'table food' girl. And lovesssss Cheerios.
