We have offically moved into the new house!
We are finally here!!! I was off most of last week moving 'stuff'. I haven't posted any 'new' news because I still don't have my Road Runner hooked up. Bella didn't have any issues with her new room. Of course, with this house being next to where we did live, she had made many visit trips. I will post new pics as soon as I am up and running again.

Two New Bottom Teeth...among many new things!

I have 2 new bottom teeth....my left and right first premolars.

Bella has started to pull up and stand.

And does a front split to sit back down....what flexibility.

Guess Mickey crashed and burned...hope Bella doesn't call 911...again. She was playing with Keith's Blackberry the other day. Bella loves all types of gadgets. Well, Keith's phone rang, he answered and I heard him reply. No, we don't have any type of emergency here. Bella had dialed 911 and they were calling back to get more details. Too funny!!!

"Whatever"
And more good news.....we are going to start moving into the new house this week and hope to spend our first night there next Saturday. I am taking off most of this week and plan on moving some each day. So that we don't have to do it all in just the weekend. The driveway was finally poured last week, 125 yards of concrete. No more tracking thru mud to get inside, when it rains. Bella has visited the house all thru the process and we are hoping that she will transition to her new room pretty easily. The Dining Room and Breakfast Room furniture was delivered on Saturday. And the rest of the furniture should be here on Thursday. I will post a few up to date house pics soon.

Another...1 Year Ago Today...We began our wait for Isabella
Today, a year ago, we made the call to our Agency Coordinator and told her that we 'most excitedly' would accept the referral that had came our way just three days prior. Keith said over and over that we would have her home by Christmas. So close....we were out of PGN by mid December, just not quite home. From referral to pickup, it was a long 7 months. And now we have been home with Bella almost 5 months. And those 5 months have just flown by. Amazing how we view the passage of time on the event we are referring to. Happy, joyful time, passes by so quickly in comparison to those slow times in which we await events to occur.

Fourth of July---2008

We spent most of our Fourth of July shopping for furniture for the new house. Bella rolled and played on nearly every couch and chair we looked at. Da Da Keith kept her occupied and happy the entire time. And Bella was just the best!!!
We kinda figured she wouldn't make it for the fireworks celebration. We just hung out at the house and watched the fireworks that took place at our neighbors house. Guess you can she that she was 'pooped' from all that shopping and didn't quite make it thru the finale. We were thinking that she might be afraid of the loud noise and bright lights, not.

1 Year Ago Today @ 303 pm
One year ago today at 303 pm, we received the call from our Agency with the news that they had a baby girl for us. We were third on the list for a baby girl referral and were told that we would probably be waiting for 4-6 months for a referral. We waited less than one week. And my oh my how things have changed over the past 12 months. That little baby girl is now a year old and has been with us since Feb 18th.
As each new day comes and goes, Bella grows more and more into her own little person. She is like a sponge as she watches and absorbs things that happen around her. Everyone keeps telling me that children grow up so fast. I am now beginning to understand just exactly what they were talking about. And we can't wait to see what the future holds for our family.

13 Months Old

Bella is 13 months old today! Here are a few of the 'quiet' moments. She is not walking yet, but can 'pseudo crawl' like crazy. And is trying to pull up. She can sign 'eat', 'more', 'dirty diaper', and 'sleep'. Bella points at everything and says 'whats that'. She can say 'hey' and 'bye' and 'nana'(banana)....blows kisses, plays peep-eye, and wants to brush her teeth all the time. And will imitate many of the actions and things that we do. Bella seems to grow and change a bit every day.
