Go Get Yourself Some Cheap Sunglasses...ZZ Top says it best!!!

Spring is in the air....getting the itch to get outside....My nephew's wife, Ashley came by yesterday bringing new things for Bella. She now has her first flip flops and sunglasses. I wear flip flops year round...can't wait to get Bella hooked on them. This will really drive Keith crazy! lol Check out the diva lounging in her nanny pillow...sipping on some juice.

Floornanny Pillow...check this out! www.floornanny.com

I have found the most wonderful pillow....Bella is almost sitting on her own, still a bit wobbly and having hardwood floors was a big concern. If she toppled over while still in the learning mode, she would bang her head. Even with a couple of blankets under her, the floor is still hard. I heard about this pillow from my nephew's wife, Ashley. Seems that she has a friend that has one too. And the company that make them is only about 20 min away, in Greensboro, www.floornanny.com. They actually all went to High School together. Long story short....I spoke with one of the owners...drove to her house today...picked up 2 pillows. One for Ashley and her 6 week old son, Caden and the other for me. The pictures speak for themselves...she is loving it already. It allows her to sit, wobble, and sit back up on her own without any bump ups. And of course, TJ had to get in on the action too.

4 Weeks Ago Today

Its hard to believe that 4 weeks ago today, we began heading home from Guatemala. Isabella was recovering from an ear infection...and I was just beginning to come down with something that haunted me for 4 weeks. Thank goodness it seems to have left my body, lol. And Bella is doing wonderful too...her teething madness has subsided a bit, for now, as she has 3 new little top teeth beginning to show.

She loves to watch music videos and has began to move up and down with the music. I think that one day she will be on 'Dancing with the Stars'...a Salsa dancer in the making. And is a true southern belle when it come to eating. She loves stewed potatoes, crowder peas, and cornbread. And did I mention that she had added Cheerios to the daily food groups requirement? lol

Bella has truly blessed us with her daily presence. She wakes everyday with a smile, confident that she is truly loved by all of those around her...especially her Daddy, Mommy, and TJ..... She will always be our 'Lucky Charm'.

'First Easter Pictures'

Hard to believe that next Sunday is Easter...and Isabella's 'first'. Keith and I are celebrating our 12th Anniversary today....we actually almost forgot it. Amazing how one little girl has changed our daily thinking. It is now all about her.

Gas Powered Stroller?????

I couldn't resist snapping the 'gas powered stroller'. Keith finally got the stroller put together...and for a lack of a more spacious place to store...he put it between our two Harley's....too funny!

Bella is doing better this week...the teething pains are a bit more under control, look like she has 3 top teeth that are starting to push through. Still having to avoid giving her the teething biscuits...she bites them too hard and cries! She is pretty hit and miss on sleeping thru the night. She usually can stand the wet diaper no longer than 5 am...

She is doing better with strangers too! Our friends Mark and Jo, and their boys, Adam and Ethan came over on Saturday. She loved being held by Jo and Mark. We have also discovered that Bella doesn't really like for someone new to get in her face, pinch her cheeks, or do alot of the baby talk thing. After she kinda warms up to new faces...she will open up too...

We are loving having our Bella home. She completes the family that Keith and I have wanted for so long. And the journey continues.....

Teething.....confirmed...

Looks like Bella is trying to cut some upper teeth. She was so fussy...that I had to hold her most of the day on Tuesday. Called the Pediatrician...just to get a confirmation from them...and they suggested that I bring her in to make sure that she didn't have another ear infection going on. She woke up yesterday morning much happier. I took her to her appt...no ear infection...just teething. As you can see Bella loves the hard toast and hard biscuits..and she loves to share with TJ. It was bound to happen sooner or later. I have since put her seat a bit higher so that she can't get to TJ when she is snacking.

We are all so ready for some warm weather! I still can't shake what I caught while in Guatemala...and it seems to have now turned into a sinus infection. Finally broke down myself and went for a checkup, got meds. Hopefully, this will knock it out, 2 weeks is way too long to feel like crap..lol....

Isabella is 9 months old today!

Isabella is 9 months old today. My, how time flys. We have been home a week and all of us are beginning to get into somewhat of a routine. Isabella was used to getting up 2-3 times a night for a bottle. Over the past week, we have totally gotten away from the night feeds and Isabella can calm herself back to sleep. But, let me tell you, the first night was not too pleasant for any of us. But, the words of the Pediatrician.....the night feedings have to stop. Isabella is also eating more during the day. She loves Cheerios. Not too crazy about green veggies, go figure.

We had some fairly warm weather yesterday, Bella took her first golf cart ride and visited her unfinished bedroom in the new house. She loves the outside and the wind in her face. Wishing for early spring weather!
