So....think that Isabella and I are on the road to recovery. When we got Isabella last week, in Guatemala, she had a bit of a runny nose and was playing grab ears. We ended up taking her to the Pediatrician in Guatemala and found out that she had an ear infection. Then on Wednesday, last week, her Guatemalan 'gunk' found me. Luckily, it didn't really get too bad on me until we were back home in Stokesdale, safe and sound.
Isabella is really doing good. And had some 'firsts' yesterday. She got her first haircut, her bangs were really long. Notice, she was asleep when the trim started, but woke up and smiled the entire time. We also made our first trip to our Pediatrician. And again, she laughed almost the entire time. Bella is up to 16 lbs and 12 ozs. We also went to Target, Pampers flee in a hurry!
She loves pasta mixed with sweet potatoes and apples....ewwwwww... But, if it works for her. And stewed potatoes...she is truly going to be a country girl. She is also exploring Cheerios, with the dog. She really loves TJ..and he loves her too! He makes every step we take. Thats the most he has moved in 7 years. He sleeps better at night that Bella, lol.
Bella is such a joy to have around. Has a great personality....but can go from 0 to cranky in 10 secs if she is hungry or her diaper is wet. Loves Barney and VH1. We can't wait till it gets a bit warmer so that we can get outside and ride around on the golf cart. She loves to ride and didn't even mind her first exposure to the carseat.
