Isabella's Foster Home-Foster Sister (Isabelle)

I found out some great news a couple of weeks ago. I have shared this info with some of you, but not all. It appears that Isabella is in a Foster Home with another baby girl that will be on 30 minutes away when she comes home, a Foster Sister, Isabelle. They have ate, slept, and played together. I have spoken with her mom to be and we plan on staying in contact as the girls grow.

Isabelle's mom has also made a visit trip to Guatemala and has met our Foster Mother. She says that she is very nice. She didn't get to meet my Isabella, privacy issues, etc... But since we have now made the connection, we all agree that that the Foster Mother can share info about both girls. It appears that the Foster Mother has access to a computer and may be able to IM.

No more news regarding our travel date to go and bring Isabella home.

Merry Christmas everyone!!!! I'm so glad that it's once again Christmas time. This is one of my favorite times of the year. I could honestly celebrate it year round. This year is going to be even more special because our Isabella is here having her first Christmas. We didn't get to bring her home to celebrate this year, but she will be with us next year. It has really been quite a journey to get to this point.... and now we are waiting on the travel date to go pick her up. Thanks to each of you for keeping us in your thoughts during this time.

Babies R Us---Look Out

Now that we know that we will be picking up Isabella in the near future, we decided it was time that we went out and got her some clothes. We had put this off since we didn't really have any good estimate as to when we would get our final approval. We came out with 4 huge bags of stuff... I decided today to start getting the nursery organized, washing, etc. And Keith, well check out the photos....he was on a mission to assemble..... The room is really beginning to look like there will be a little girl there soon!

My First Try At Blogging

I have been wanting to give this a try for months. Now would really be a great time to show you Isabella's journey to us. Keith and me really do have some great news to share with everyone. We received our final approval Tuesday, the 18th. Looks like we will be traveling in the next 4-6 weeks to bring Isabella home.
